Björn Flismark is a senior vice president, product management (and development), within Global Transaction Services at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB). Formerly he was responsible for infrastructure projects on payments, securities, and foreign exchange, and he is now involved in SEB’s preparations for the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and for complying with the related legal requirements. Flismark is deputy chairman of the Euro Banking Association (EBA) and chairs the SEPA and PSD compliance working group, which produced “Banks preparing for SEPA,” “Banks preparing for PSD,” and “Banks fine-tuning their PSD preparations.” He was a member of the European Payments Council and the Coordination Committee 2002–2010 and was chairman of the Information Security Support Group (ISSG).
