Jean Dermine

Jean Dermine is professor of banking and finance at INSEAD, Fontainebleau. Graduating with a Docteur ès Sciences Économiques from the Universite Catholique de Louvain and with an MBA from Cornell University, he has been a visiting professor at New York University, the Wharton School, and the Stockholm School of Economics. As a consultant he has worked with international banks, auditing and consulting firms, national central banks, the European Central Bank, the Bank for International Settlements, HM Treasury, the OECD, the World Bank, and the European Commission. Professor Dermine is coauthor of the ALCO Challenge, a banking simulation used on five continents. His work has been quoted in the international press, such as The Economist, the Financial Times, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal.
