Krzysztof M. Ostaszewski holds a PhD in mathematics from the University of Washington in Seattle. He is a chartered financial analyst, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a chartered enterprise risk analyst, and a fellow of the Singapore Actuarial Society. He is a professor of mathematics and the actuarial program director at Illinois State University, a center of actuarial excellence. Ostaszewski is also the research director for life insurance and pensions at the Geneva Association, International Association for the Study of Insurance Economics.
