Louise Scholes is a senior lecturer in entrepreneurial management at Durham University Business School. Her main research interests include entrepreneurial activity, family firms, private equity, venture capital (particularly management buyouts), and science and business. She has published articles in a number of journals, including Human Relations, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Small Business Economics, the International Small Business Journal, and the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance. Scholes is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the British Academy of Management.
