Martin S. Fridson is a former managing director of Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. and was a member of Institutional Investor’s All- America Fixed-Income Research Team. He is the author of It Was a Very Good Year, Investment Illusions, and Financial Statement Analysis. He serves on the board of the Association for Investment Management and Research. According to the New York Times, Fridson is “one of Wall Street’s most thoughtful and perceptive analysts.” The Financial Management Association International named him its financial executive of the year in 2002. In 2000 Fridson became the youngest person ever inducted into the Fixed Income Analysts Society Hall of Fame.
