Neil Cantle

Principal, Milliman, London, UK

Neil Cantle is a principal working in the London office of Milliman. He is a qualified actuary with over 20 years’ experience working in the financial services and risk management industry. He leads the development of Milliman’s CRisALIS approach to ERM, using insights from complexity sciences to deliver practical methods for modern risk management. In 2012 he led a research project in conjunction with the Universities of Bristol and Bath on behalf of the UK actuarial profession to apply complexity science to risk appetite and emerging risk. Cantle is one of 10 UK actuaries to have received the Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) designation as a thought leader.
