Robert G. Eccles is a professor of management practice at the Harvard Business School, where he teaches courses on innovating for sustainability in the MBA and executive education programs and on the role of the corporation in society in the doctoral program. He is the author of numerous cases, articles, and books, including three books on corporate reporting. The most recent book, coauthored with Mike Krzus, is One Report: Integrated Reporting for a Sustainable Society. Eccles graduated with SB degrees in mathematics and humanities and social science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1973, and received his AM (1975) and PhD (1979) in sociology from Harvard University.
