Rod Morris is vice president in charge of the political risk insurance program for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. He first came to OPIC in 2000 after serving as a senior vice president at CNA Insurance Company, where he was in charge of a number of products and divisions as well as the branch offices in Omaha and Phoenix. He has also served as the chief regulator for the captive insurance program in Arizona and has authored a number of articles and training texts on underwriting and captives. Morris has been a member of the United Nation’s Expert Group on Public-Private Risk Sharing.
