Roger Martin has served as dean of the Rotman School of Management since 1998. He also serves as an adviser on strategy to the CEOs of several major global corporations. He has published two books: The Opposable Mind (2007) and The Responsibility Virus (2002). His third book, The Design of Business: Why Design Thinking is the Next Competitive Advantage, will be published in November 2009 (Harvard Business School Press). In 2007, Business Week named him one of the 10 most influential business professors in the world. He received his AB from Harvard College, with a concentration in economics, in 1979, and his MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1981.
