Samuel Sender founded MC2 Finance, an independent consulting firm for life and mutual insurance companies, before joining FINALYSE, a consultancy specializing in risk and performance measurement, as a senior insurance consultant and asset–liability management specialist. Formerly with the economics, strategy, and quantitative research unit at HSBC Asset Management Europe, and then head of asset–liability management at Erisa, the French life insurance subsidiary of HSBC, he graduated in statistics and economics from ENSAE (école Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique) in Paris.
