stockholders' yearly business meeting a yearly meeting at which a company's management reports the year's results and stockholders have the opportunity to vote on company business, for example, the appointment of directors and auditors. Other business, for example, voting on dividend payments and board/stockholder-sponsored resolutions, may also be transacted.
