public's ideas about what firm is like the perceptions and impressions of an organization by the public as a result of interaction with the organization and the way the organization presents itself. Organizations have traditionally focused on the design of communication and advertising materials, using logos, symbols, text, and color to create a favorable impression on target groups, but a variety of additional activities contribute to a positive corporate image. These include public relations programs such as community involvement, sponsorship, and environmental projects, participation in quality improvement schemes, and good practice in industrial relations.
