    experiencing more activity than usual used to describe a market in which trading is more active than usual

  • 2. Stockholding & Investments

    investing too much in one type of stock having too many investments in related industries or stock

  • 3. Stockholding & Investments

    high-priced used to describe a stock that has such a high price that small investors are reluctant to buy it. In this case the company may decide to split the stock so as to make it more attractive.
