European clearing house the clearing house formed by the merger of the London Clearing House and Paris-based Clearnet in 2003. It serves major international exchanges and platforms, as well as a range of over-the-counter markets, clearing a range of asset classes including: securities, exchange-traded derivatives, commodities, energy, freight, interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, and euro and sterling-denominated bonds and repos.
